The provincial network, Leaders of Today (LOT) which is made up of youth, adult supporters, and government from across Nova Scotia came together the weekend of October 28-30, 2011 at Brigadoon Village in the Annapolis Valley. Over 100 people gathered to share what was going on for youth in their community and shared information about how to keep youth engaged.
Communities across the province will be following-up with actions in their region, and this will be shared on the LOT website at leadersoftoday.wordpress.com/.
Youth-led Community grants are available. Also new this year are the Wild Spaces Youth-led grants youth For more info, ask Sarah Cooke (Northumberland Regional High School Student) at sarahcooke11@gmail.com or Taylor Bezanson (North Nova Education Centre Student) at bexansonwt@gmail.com
